VoidCo refers to a trio of Kongs who are the main antagonists of the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 title Donkey Kong Bananza. They run a large-scale mining operation.
Members[]
The group is led by Void Kong, a small primate who likely oversees all operations. Alongside him is Poppy Kong, a slim kong who is responsible for gathering intel, and Grumpy Kong, a giant kong who works to build soldiers for the company.
Trivia[]
- Various sources, including Nintendo's international websites, indicate that VoidCo is operating for someone else. While this can mean a brand new character, some fans have speculated that they're working for one of the previous villains, more specifically King K.Rool. Which is supported by the fact the main minions for VoidCo are Crockoids, stone crocodile head statues incasing living golden Crocodile-like skeletons.
- Poppy Kong's design is said to be based on ganguro, a Japanese fashion trend popular amongst young women.
