I'm thinking about how a WiiWare DKC sequel would work.

Klunky Kong (New! Occasionally playable twin brother of Funky Kong... Even more annoying...)
Funky Kong (Dog Fight minigame.)
Wrinkly Kong (Unlockable by buying every Kontraption.)
Donkey Kong (Unlockable by clearing the first world as Kiddy alone.)
Diddy Kong (Unlockable by clearing the first world as Klunky 3 times.)
Dixie Kong (Unlockable by clearing the first world as Cootie alone.)
K. Rool (Only in the Nightmare level.)

Boss Rush (Every Boss from the game thus far.)
KremBlade (The one thing K. Rool is afraid of. The hardest boss in gaming. Play as K. Rool in this level.)
KremBlade returns (The Kongs fight the harder version of the boss after K. Rool is finally gone for good in this final level.)
NPCs:
Candy Kong: Hosts Candy's Studio. She let's you play the dancing game. Also gives you Donkey Kong if you've unlocked him.
Cranky Kong: Hosts Cranky's Konghouse. Where he gives hints, and hosts secret minigames for each playable character.
Funky Kong: Hosts Funky's Flights, Where you can play the dogfight minigame. (Which has a bonus level in Cranky's Konghouse.) And gives you Dixie if you've unlocked her.
Wrinkly Kong: Hosts Wrinkly's Graveyard, appears in each level when you find all of that level's red bananas. Gives you a health upgrade, then gives you a DK barrel. (Which contains Diddy if you've unlocked him.)
Junky K. Rool: May appear throughout the game as a shady drifter. He will sell the Kong's various items that will prove to be worth only a gag cutscene in the end. (And Wrinkly if unlocked.)
DKC Remake Bonuses:
Enguarde can now be used as a weapon in above water levels, by Diddy.
Gangplank Galleon now has more than just 1 level.
World 4 has Ice Sickle as a boss.
World 6 has Krazy Kroc as a boss.
Master Necky Sr, and Really Gnawty have to be unlocked in the levels their easier versions are.
Slight 3D segments.
GBA extras intact.
DKL levels. (GPGA is now harder, and in GPG's place.)
Contributions not accepted anymore.
Also has a retelling of DKC2 as one of the Komputer games. (Code: dkc2-5.kom)
An unlockable fully playable remake of DKC is available as a prize in "Dogfight!!"
Plus a remake of DK64 in Cranky's Konghouse
