DKC Cartoon Recreation Log
This is a progress log for my recreation of the DKC Cartoon. The project began on March 28, 2023. It is being worked on in Blender, by someone who doesn’t have much experience with animation (I know how to use keyframes…but that’s mainly it) or modeling. I will record my progress from the beginning to end on here.
I came up with this while watching the cartoon. After I finished my episode (Season 1 Episode 3, in case you were wondering), I opened up Blended and began work. I downloaded the Smash Ultimate King K. Rool model. After importing it into Blender, I had to add textures to the eyes…which took me several hours. The Kremlings are a crocodilian species that hail from Crocodile Isle. Most of them are members of the Kremling Krew, led by King K. Rool.

There are three subspecies of Kremling: Kritters, Klaptraps, and Krocheads.
Kritters are a bipedal, crocodilian subspecies of Kremling. Each have vertical pupils with red eyes. They have yellow pectoral, and arms with 4 fingers. They also have feet with 3 sharp toenails and a tail. They also come in 6 colors these being green (the most common), blue, brown, yellow, grey, red, and purple.
