Meet The Kongs[]
Donkey Kong[]
Ever the strong yet dopey ape, DK is a Kong of simple pleasures, simply going on jungle journeys with his pal Diddy, visiting his girl Candy at her job in Bluster's Barrel Factory, or just sit back, and eat some of his bananas.
Diddy Kong[]
Aspiring to be like his best pal (And Uncle) DK, Diddy does whatever he can to prove his worth, he is childish though, and often is prone to bad mouthing, and recklessness, luckily his girlfriend Dixie keeps him on the right track.
Cranky Kong[]
After his retirement, he was the one who rejuvenated DK island into the flourishing system it is now, Cranky is well, Cranky, old and longs for the past, All that being said, he does care about the Kong clan, push comes to shove he'll get off his rocking chair if he really has too, but more often he would rather just chat, spouting as much wisdom as he can for this lousy new generation.
Dixie Kong[]
Never to fear, Dixie is here! The energetic chimp with a hair like a banana, Dixie is a fun loving ape that is often seen playing with Diddy or Kiddy, she is related to Tiny Kong, who despite the name, is actually the older sibling, they fight sometimes, but generally Dixie is level headed and tries to be as brave as a youngin can be.
Funky Kong[]
King of Cool, this funky monkey runs his own shop on DK Island, offering transport to any Kongs who could handle his funky fresh flying style. He is the owner of Squawks the Parrot.
Bluster Kong[]
Head Honcho and Sole owner of DK Island's proud barrel factory, Bluster has climbed his way up the steel garter empire, and made his name known amongst the Kongs. He much like DK, has feelings for Candy, sadly, she does not return his feelings, maybe some day, right Mumsy?
Candy Kong[]
Candy Kong is very popular among the Kongs, her caring but sizzling attitude makes her by far one of the most sassy Kongs, many have attempted to win her heart, to which it belongs to DK, their love is stronger than all the golden bananas hidden on the island.
Tiny Kong[]
She may be small in size, but in strength she is a force to be reckoned with, Tiny is Dixie's sister, unlike her sister, she isn't quite as good in the air, but is no slouch, she is an expert with her jungle made feather launcher, allowing her to snipe targets with ease.
Chunky Kong[]
He may move slow, and can't jump high, but Chunky is a great guy, with the biggest heart of all the Kongs, he is the kindest member of the DK Crew, but also the strongest, some say he even punched the moon once, but DK thinks it's a load of banana peels.
Lanky Kong[]
He isn't the most stylish or graceful, but Lanky is a good orangutang, often usually helping the other Kongs with his handstand maneuvers being perfect for traversing harsh terrain, Lanky is a guy you can trust, and he brushes his teeth.
Kiddy Kong[]
Chunky's Little Bro, this dinky little ape is quite polite and knows he is a newer generation of kongs, he and Diddy are actually friends.
Wrinkly Kong[]
One of the senior Kongs, Wrinkly is the wisest member of the Kong family, she works at the Kong Kollege, which Diddy and Dixie often attend, as they are fascinated with her tales of old, and her romance with Cranky, they actually met after he ran off from that bug house.
Swanky Kong[]
Finally he's here for you, it's the host of the Swanky Quiz Show, Quite the showsman, Swanky's mde the best entertainment possible on Donkey Kong Island, his various quizzes and games make him a rather interesting fellow, as he might know as much as Wrinkly. He and Bluster are not friends.
Eddie the Mean old Yeti[]
A cryptid of DK Island, Eddie is said to terrorize anyone in the Gorilla Glacier area of the island, is he really as mean as they say, or does he just want some snow cones?
Animal Buddies[]
Kong Island isn't just kongs, it's a diverse se of Fauna.
Rambi[]
The Powerhouse of DK Island, Rambi is often the Kong's go too when it comes travel companion, he can take most things by the horn, and isn't afraid of anything.
Squawks[]
Funky's Parrot Pal, Squawks is always good for the eye of the skies, alerting the Kongs of any apposing threats, he is quite easy to come by.
Enguarde[]
This Fish is suave and skilled with his sword, helping the Kongs underwater whenever he can, Enguarde is much like Rambi, strong and fast, he does hate ramming into old sunken ships though, he always thinks spliters get stuck on him.
Expresso[]
A fine ostrich, he is the fasted animal buddy and is often competing in races in his free time, he isn't quite the aerial acolyte that is Squawks, but he can leap long distances when the situation is dire.
Winky[]
Winky the frog can leap 3 barrels in a single bound, but can slip quite easily, that being said Winky is often not talked about among the Kongs, but they treat him well, as long as they keep to bananas and him to his flies they can agree to co-exist.
Monkey Map[]
Donkey Kong Island is quite the large area, one could say it's even a Country size, accordingly, there are different locals that make up this mound of jungles and other ecosystems.
Kongo Bongo[]
The main residence of the Kongs, overlooking the coast of the island, perfect for the Kong Family, food, water, sunny beach for days, who could turn this place down? Nearby is the Jungle where the Kongs go for sport, or to farm bananas.
Monkey Mines[]
Just across the way from Kongo Bongo are the old Monkey Mines, where the Crystal Coconuts and other goodies were stored away by the Banana Fairies. They've since been abandoned, and rumors of creepers way back in the mines serve as ghost stories to the younger Kong members.
Forest Frenzy[]
The Ancient Temples of DK Island tell of stories long before even Cranky came to be, Home to local types of Fungi, this forest is considered the usual stopping point for the Kongs if they venture far from Kongo Bongo.
Gorilla Glacier[]
The tippy top of DK Island, the northern heights are home to the banished Kongs, such as Eddie the Mean Old Yeti. Legend has it's covering an unactive volcano, where all types of danger lies.
Bluster's Barrel Factory[]
A booming barrel business, the reason barrels show up on DK Island in the first place, without Bluster, how can the Kongs stay safe when there's no more coconuts? Since Bluster isn't the strongest, he usually uses Funky's Gyrocopter when he needs to get to work.
Big Ape City[]
This area is new, some Kremlings thought it would be nice to live on DK Island, as an invasive species, they needed to adapt to the new turf, building a city just on DK Island much like Crocodile Isle.
