Uncle Kong, or UK per his tie, is an original character and member of the Kong Family who appears only in the Japanese strategy guide "Super Donkey Kong 2: Dixie & Diddy: Kouryaku Guidebook Kanzenhan" (スーパードンキーコング2 ディクシー&ディディー 攻略ガイドブック完全版) for the game Super Donkey Kong 2: Dixie & Diddy for Super Family Computer. In the strategy guide, he gives hints about the game to the player. However, the character does not appear, and he is never mentioned in Donkey Kong Country 2 or any Donkey Kong series games.
