Tundra Blunda, (レンギンの庭 Rengin no Niwa in Japan), is the seventeenth stage in Donkey Kong Land III and the fifth in Blackforest Plateau. It comes after Surface Tension and before Redwood Rampage.
Overview[]
Tundra Blunda is known to be the second snow-themed stage in Donkey Kong Land III. This stage prominently features Lemguins as they pounce out from holes where they dug and hide in and try to attack Dixie and Kiddy Kong. This stage, like Polar Pitfalls has a slippery surface meaning that Dixie and Kiddy must be cautious of their steps. Aside from Lemguins, Skiddas, Knik-Knaks and Krimps also inhabit the area. Another major obstacle are Knockas which have the icy ground to give them more force to push Dixie and Kiddy further. If not careful, they may knock the two into an abyss.
This stage is like the Donkey Kong Land III equivalent to Lemguin Lunge as both have similar features.
Trivia[]
- The "Blunda" part in the stage's name is a misspelling of "blunder" so it may rhyme with "tundra".
- As the snow-themed song "Frosty Folics" in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! isn't in Donkey Kong Land III, the waterfall music is used instead.
