Tiki Torch

Tiki Torches are enemies in Donkey Kong Country Returns. They have a slight resemblance to a Tiki Doom. They have small arms on their base. They have black heads, empty eye sockets, and are always on fire. Because of this, if Donkey Kong or Diddy Kong touch it, they will take damage and not hurt the Tiki Torch. They appear in many levels, the first being Peaceful Pier on the Beach. They can also be seen spectating in all the boss battles, alongside Tiki Goons and Tiki Tanks.

How to Defeat

The player has to shake the Wii remote and Nunchuck to blow out the Tiki's fire. It will turn into just a head with flimsy arms. Before it can reignite itself, you have to stomp on its head or roll into it. If it reignites itself, it must be blown out again. It should be interesting to note that, after getting blown out a second time, the Tiki Torch will take a few seconds to realize what happened, and then begin to frantically run from one end of the platform its on to the next.
