Tiki Buzzes are flying tiki enemies found in the games Donkey Kong Country Returns and Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D.

Overview[]

Donkey Kong Country Returns and Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D[]

Tiki Buzzes are found in most of the worlds of both games. They fly at regular patterns, but they do not pursue the Kongs. The regular variants can be defeated by single roll attacks, jump attacks or barrels thrown at them. The primates can usually bounce on these enemies in order to reach high places or traverse wide pits.

Throughout the Forest level Flutter Flyaway, variants of Tiki Buzzes and Tiki Torks can be found inside cages, acting as floating platforms for the heroes to use. They are also invincible against all attacks.

In both games, there are also flaming and bigger variants of Tiki Buzzes called Flaming Tiki Buzzes and Tiki Torks, respectively.

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS[]

In the game Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, there is a trophy for Tiki Buzz.

Tiki Buzzes also appear as slightly uncommon enemies in the mode Smash Run from the same game. There, they behave in similar way as in the games Donkey Kong Country Returns and Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D by flying at regular patterns. Fighters can bounce on them and reach good heights.
