Stages

1-1 Cranky's Teachin's

It is a tutorial stage and first stage of Sun Sun Island. Cranky Kong explains the basic mechanics of the game to the player.

1-2 Sun Sun Beach

The second stage of Sun Sun Island. It is the first proper stage of the world, and it takes place on a beach, as the name implies. There are no enemies in it.

1-3 Jungle Beach

The third stage of Sun Sun Island. It also takes place on a beach. It introduces the Flitter and Neek enemies. A giant flower appears in the stage. Using it will launch the player. Bushes appear in midair as well. Landing in them will make Donkey Kong stick to it. Water is introduced in the stage as well.

1-4 Cool Cool Cave

The fourth stage of Sun Sun Island. It takes place in a cave. Flitters, Neeks, and Flip-Flaps appear in the stage. A boulder can be grabbed on and will roll if one grabs it. The stage introduces Diddy Kong, who is inside a DK Barrel, as power-up.

1-5 Cliffy Peak

The fifth stage and boss stage of Sun Sun Island. The player must climb to the peak of the mountain. Flitters and Mini-Neckys appear in the stage. The boss, Banana Spaceship, is fought at the end of the stage. It attacks by dropping carrot bombs.

1-6 Little Sun Sun Island

Extra stage unlocked after the player collecting all four Oil Barrels in the previous stages of this island, and prompting Funky Kong in the overworld map to use his Biplane Barrel for accessing the stage. Despite it still being part of the same world, this stage takes place onto a small separated island.
