Sumo Kong is a giant ape, who is king of the Star Fruit Kingdom. So far, his only appearance was Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat as the King of the Star Fruit Kingdom. He was fought on a asteroid.

Description

Much like what its was named after Sumo Kong is Large and Tall, It also has a scar across its Right Eye, it has greenish brown fur, and grey-blue shorts.He is the ruler of the Star-Fruit Kingdom the sixteenth kingdom Donkey Kong ventures through in Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. Donkey Kong's battle takes place in space on an asteroid with Earth in the background. After a long fist-fight with Sumo Kong, Donkey Kong was victorious in battle and went on to do battle with the colossal Ghastly King. Sumo Kong appears with the other Kong Kings (Dread Kong, Karate Kong, Ninja Kong) at the end of the game ceremony since it seems that Ghastly and Cactus King put a spell on the Kong Kings so they celebrate and honor Donkey Kong's victory over the Ghastly and Cactus King instead of attacking him. The Star-Fruit Kingdom contains Ninjape Rally and the Asteroid Belt. To defeat Sumo Kong, do everything FAST. When he's about to launch an attack, punch on the side where his arm is lifted, then he will try to push you with his hand, you must clap to dodge or duck and then start punching him. Do it a couple more times and you'll defeat him and complete the level.
