Squidlies are enemies from Donkey Kong Country Returns. They appear in Beach levels, and are very common.
Appearance
Squidlies are missile-like squids that are infinitely shot out of turrets, and when shot, they will move in a straight line in the direction that the turret shot them. They have small brown shells that are their main offense against Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong. Since they are a mollusk, this is why they have a shell. They also have a rather surprised expression when they get shot out, opposed to the when it first gets shot, with an angry expression.
