Seabed Shanty, (バッザーの湖 Bazzā no mizuumi in Japan), is the second level in Donkey Kong Land III and Cape Codswallop. It comes after Red Wharf and before Ford Knocks.

Seabed Shanty is also one of the twelve levels in the game to be a part of the Time Attack mode. In this mode, the level is called Coral instead of its original name for reasons unknown. It's default high score is 1:20:00.

Overview

This level is the first underwater level in Donkey Kong Land III. This level also has large coral reefs on which Dixie and Kiddy constantly must swim through. There are twenty Kocos, eighteen Lurchins, infinite Bazzas with only eight channels on which they come out of and nine Bounty Basses. Luckily, Enguarde appears in this level (also makes his first) to help Dixie and Kiddy to get through the level.

  • In the Time Attack mode, this level has to be won before a minute and twenty seconds before gaining a new high score. As the monkeys cannot swim quickly enough to complete it, they must find a hidden Barrel Cannon in the level. This hidden barrel can be found near the end of the level, in a gigantic coral reef in the bottom-right corner. This barrel then blasts the monkeys to other Barrel Cannons which blast the monkeys constantly until reaching the Flagpole.
  • This level is one of the only levels in Donkey Kong Land III that has it's DK Coin not to be obtained by a Koin, but hidden throughout the level.
