Donkey Kong Country Returns
Screaming Pillars are Tiki-like enemies found in Donkey Kong Country Returns. Their first appearance in the game was in the very first level, Jungle Hijinxs. Screaming Pillars are gray pillars with sleeping faces. When Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong get close, they will wake up. When he gets even closer, they will scream and fall, creating platforms. He can ground-pound the pillars once they have fallen, destroying them. He will sometimes get items for defeating them.
