Ripcurl Reef, (サンゴのもり Sango no mori in Japan), is the fifth stage in Pacifica from the Game Boy Advance version of Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!. It is preceded by Cliffside Blast and followed by Surf's Up.
Overview[]
Ripcurl Reef takes place in the coral reef, and the main gimmick is the strong currents that push the Kongs in the direction they move in. The primary enemy in the level are the palette swapped Lurchins, who have green bodies, golden shells and purple spikes. The other enemies are green Kocos and Bazzas. Because Enguarde the Swordfish is absent in the level, Dixie and Kiddy have no way of defeating the enemies, and are only able to swim around them. Some parts of the level also have branched paths.
Collectibles and secrets[]
K-O-N-G Letters[]
- Letter K: After passing the first Bonus Level, the Kongs swim upward after encountering a DK Barrel to a narrow path, where the Letter K is found.
- Letter O: Located in the upper right corner in a small room with passing Bazzas.
- Letter N: The Letter N is found at the bottom of a path underneath a line of Bazzas.
- Letter G: The Letter G is found in the middle of an upper path with a few Kocos.
Special Barrels[]
- The Star Barrel is found after swimming through a long tunnel with a strong current.
Bonus Areas[]
- After swimming through a tunnel of the green Lurchins, there is a Bonus Barrel found to the right. The Bonus Level is to "Collect 25 Stars", while avoiding normal looking Lurchins.
- The second Bonus Barrel is found after obtaining the Letter G; the Kongs must swim to the right then downward while avoiding the Koco. The Kongs have to collect a Bonus Coin while avoiding the Bounty Basses.

Trivia[]
- The strong current gimmick in this level is similar to the wind currents from Squawks's level from Animal Antics.
