Quint was an ancient pirate who brought the Crystal Coconut to the Kongo Bongo island in the Donkey Kong Country (TV series).

Quint, much like his descendant, Kaptain Skurvy, was a pirate who plundered, pillaged, and stole booty. According to Kaptain Skurvy's Father, he was once ruler of the seven seas.

Quint never appeared in the television series, as he passed away long before the series took place. However, his legacy was passed down by his great-great-great-grandson, Kaptain Skurvy. He was first mentioned in the episode "Booty and the Beast", when Skurvy sings about the rich history of the Crystal Coconut.

In the episode "Legend of the Crystal Coconut", Cranky Kong and Skurvy say a bit more on Quint's history. Quint apparently stole the Crystal Coconut from an unknown source. Not knowing of its powers, he stashed the Crystal Coconut in the eye of Inka Dinka Doo. Many years later, Inka Dinka Doo shed the coconut like a tear, and it was found by Donkey Kong at some point.

  • According to Skurvy's introduction in "Legend of the Crystal Coconut", Quint is long dead.
  • Quint happens to double as General Klump's great-great-great-grandfather, as well as Skurvy's, due to the two being brothers.
  • Quint was most likely the creator of the great-great-great pirate oath.
  • Despite being five generations apart, Quint was seemingly still alive early into Skurvy's life
