Puzzle Pieces are collectable items from Donkey Kong Country Returns and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. Every stage (with the exception of Boss stages) contain either 5, 7 or 9 Puzzle Pieces.
There are many parts of a stage's landscape that you can interact with. Doing so may reveal Puzzle Pieces. Try pounding the ground near interactive elements, blowing out fires or the leaves on plants.
