The Nintendo Entertainment System, often abbreviated "NES", is the second 8-bit home video game system that was released by Nintendo outside Japan on October 18, 1985, during the third generation. It followed the Family Computer, known as "Famicom", released only in Japan on July 15, 1983. The game systems make use of ROM cartridges[1] to be attached on the console port and able to play different games. And wired controllers[2] plugged in specific ports on the consoles were necessary for players to make inputs.
