Monocle Monica is an enemy making its appearance in the game Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. It appears in as an inhabitant of the game's first world, Lost Mangroves.
Appearance[]
A Monocle Monica is a flying insect reassambling a dragonfly carrying a monocle over its left eye. The Monica has two strong transparent wings, four pink legs, pink eyebrows, a purple thorax, and pink abdomen, along with a yellow dull beak on its face. It usually has an angry expression.
Game Appearance and Strategy[]
In the game, Monocle Monicas are seen flying around the stages in four directions. They zoom up, down, left, and right. They can easily be defeated by a single jump from a Kong or from a barrel, but if a Kong tries to attack a Monica from below, that Kong will take damage.
