Mini Mario & Friends: Amiibo Challenge is a puzzle/platformer game developed by Nintendo and released on January 28, 2016 for the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U. It was an exclusive free title available only on the Nintendo eShop via download, but the game requires Amiibo[3] to play.
It is the seventh and latest game in the Mario vs. Donkey Kong series. The game is a sequel to Mario vs. Donkey Kong, Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis, Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again!, Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem!, Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move and Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars.
