Kowalees are purple koala enemies that float through the air using flying vehicles in Donkey Kong Country Returns. They try to fling bombs at the unsuspecting Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong and are defeated by throwing these same bombs at the kowallee. When defeated, they get blown of the screen, making strange noises as they fall. They can only be found in the Golden Temple level.
