Kobbles are basic, green Kremling soldier grunts of the Kremling Krew, during the events of Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! and Donkey Kong Land III. As one could tell by their posture and high numbers in the levels they appear in, they act very much like the Kritters and Klomps of the previous two games.
History
Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!
Kobbles make their first appearance here. Kobbles acted much like Kritters and Klomps; Kobbles could be easily defeated by the rolling attack or simply jumping on them, despite their muscular body. Their main method of attack is simply walking forward. Even so, they are a pretty rare enemy; they only appeared in the the first level, Lakeside Limbo, Kreeping Klasps, and Tidal Trouble, even the Krimps outnumber them. However, purple color swaps called Skiddas appear in snowy levels.
In the remake, they were given a higher pitch voice. In Dixie's Album, they appear in a mill level despite not being in one normally.
Donkey Kong Land III
Kobbles were practically unchanged, except that they were made more common and given a black-and-white color scheme due to limitations.

Trivia
- Unlike their Kritter cousins, Kobbles do not wear clothing of any kind (except for the ring that pierces their lower lips).
