Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!/ Donkey Kong Land III

Knik-Knaks appear in two different colors: yellow and red. Red Knik-Knaks are more common, they can fly, and they are mostly used to give the Kongs a way to reach a high ledge. Yellow Knik-Knaks, however, cannot fly, and play a more important role: the are the key component in defeating Belcha in Belchas's Barn. When Belcha burps out Barrels, Dixie and Kiddy Kong must jump on the barrels, which reveals a yellow Knik-Knat inside. The Kongs must jump on the Knik-Knak once to get it on its back; it can now be used as a projectile. They can now pick the Knik-Knak up, and when Belcha's mouth is open, they can throw it inside. Belcha will do a large burp, pushing him back closer to the pit at the end of the stage.

In Donkey Kong Land III, Knik-Knaks make a reappearance with no significant change, but they only come in the red variety, but not the yellow variety.
