Klanks are Kremling enemies found in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest and Donkey Kong Land 2.
They only appear in the rollercoaster levels "Target Terror" and "Rickety Race" in Krazy Kremland. They are similar to Kutlass in look, but to Krash in manner, as they wildly careen along the rickety tracks in Skull Carts, trying to drop barrels at the Kongs to knock them off of their carts. This way of attack only is seen in "Target Terror". In "Rickety Race", all ten Klanks in the level must be defeated to obtain that level's DK Coin.
Klanks come in a variety of colors, which includes red, blue, yellow, light green and dark green. Their color does not affect how they move or attack. This seems to be a manner of whose team they are on in "Rickety Race".
