Jungle Jinx is the first stage of the Lost World, the forty-second stage overall in the game Donkey Kong Country 2, as well as the forty-first stage overall in the game Donkey Kong Land 2. It is followed by Black Ice Battle.

In Donkey Kong Country 2, the stage becomes accessible after the player pays fifteen Kremkoins in the Klubba's Kiosk of the Crocodile Cauldron world. In Donkey Kong Land 2, the stage becomes accessible after the player pays forty-seven Kremkoins in the Klubba's Kiosk next to the Gloomy Gulch world.

Overview

Donkey Kong Country 2

It is the first jungle stage in the game. The stage has many large tires rolling around for the player to bounce, traverse spike traps and pits, and reach high ledges and items in the air. However, the same tires can fall over and harm the Kongs or push them against hazards and pits.

Walkthrough

Donkey Kong Country 2

From the start of the stage, the Kongs must walk right and bounce off of a tire to reach the other end of a ledge. Then, they need to jump over a pit, and then land right on another tire. It will bounce them over some spikes and to safety. From there, they must use some more tires to get up to the top of two high ledges. After that, the heroes will need to jump over more giant tires rolling towards them, and watch out for a yellow Zinger in the air. Once they drop down a high ledge, the monkeys will have to bounce off of another tire to get above two nasty Zingers, and get to the next ledge. Here, they will find a vicious yellow Kutlass, whom they must defeat only when his blades are in the ground, and then travel right. After they go past a group of four Spinies, they should watch out for a Klampon and bounce atop of some more tires, which can throw them over Zingers. Then, they will reach another pit, which is filled with spikes. They have to use good timing for bounce on the fast moving tire and jump over a Zinger, and then safely land on the next ledge. From there, the heroes must cross a small gap and bounce off of several tires to get over more spikes. Once they pass that section, they need to jump down a ledge, bounce off a Flitter, and reach the Star Barrel.

In the second half the stage, the monkeys will have to travel over the path and leap over another small gap. After that, they must dodge some enemies, including another Kutlass. Then, they need to bounce off of several tires, and get over rows of spikes on the ground. From there, the primates must defeat a couple of Klampons, and soon hop down another ledge. A tire will sweep them away from the ground, though, but also save them from possibly landing on spikes. The Kongs have to jump over tires and other hazards, until they meet up with a huge pit. This time, there are no tires to help them, so they must follow the banana trail downwards, while trying to stay between the Zingers nearby. They will land into some barrel cannons. With good timing, the heroes must shoot carefully to all the barrels and soon get back up to the other side. Here, they need to bounce off of more tire to get over a few spikes, and then another gap. After that, the monkeys must face their biggest challenge of stage yet. They will have to get over many spikes, bouncing on several tires. While doing this, they need to also watch out for the gaps below them, and do their best not to fall down. Finally, they should make it safely to the other end of the section, and travel more right. Going forward, the heroes will find a yellow Klobber, and they must use the enemy's barrel to defeat a Zinger blocking a barrel cannon. The barrel cannon can be used to successfully land on the End of Stage Target. The possible prizes include a banana, banana bunch or the letter G.
