A hopgoon from Donkey Kong Country Returns.
Hopgoons are Frogoons who move forward instead of jumping in the same place. They are first seen in Tree Top Bop. Hopgoons are yellow.
It is said in the ancient prophecies of Donkey Kong that a Hopgoon created the world. It brought King Krool to power before it was betrayed and cursed to be a lowly enemy forever.
The prophecy also fortells that one day the same Hopgoon will rise to power again, destroying Krool (the betrayer) and hunting down all those who fight him. This is thought to be the plot of Nintendo's upcoming NX Donkey Kong game.
