Ghost Books are ghostly book-like enemies found in Creepy Castle's library in the game Donkey Kong 64.
Appearance[]
The books have a red cover with six different pages. They also have white eyeballs with purple irises, with an angry expression.
Strategy[]
These enemies have the ability to float in the air by flapping themselves. Only Donkey Kong can encounter these hazards. They are also undefeatable and thus must be avoided. They also are known to be able to pass through walls.
Use in game[]
In a secret passageway Donkey can activate, there is a Golden Banana ahead, but many flapping Ghost Books are around the area, meaning that Donkey must use his Strong Kong ability.
Trivia[]
- These enemies resemble Cheato from the Banjo-Kazooie series in many ways; They are just smaller and have purple eyes instead of green.
- When Donkey Kong is blocking the path of a Ghost Book, they disappear instead of float through Donkey Kong, despite having the ability to pass through walls.
- The title on the cover of the book appears to be "DK64 Player's Guide".
