The Game Boy Color is the successor of the Game Boy, and predecessor of the Game Boy Advance. It featured backwards compatibility with all Game Boy games, and had its own selection of titles. Game Boy Color games were not compatible with previous systems, such as the Game Boy, Game Boy Pocket, and Super Game Boy. The Game Boy Color was capable of taking games for the original Game Boy, and displaying them with a choice of color palette. The Game Boy Color also has only two Donkey Kong games called Donkey Kong Country and Donkey Kong GB: Dinky Kong and Dixie Kong.
