Coral Quarrel is the seventh stage in Donkey Kong Land III and the first stage in Primate Plains. It comes after Barbos Bastion and before Minky Mischief.

Overview

This stage is the second stage to take place underwater. There is once again a giant aquatic reef the two monkeys must swim through. Luckily for them, they have the aid of Enguarde who helps the two throughout the stage. Bounty Basses, Lurchins, Bazzas and Kocos also are the hazardous enemies in this area. This stage is also one of the few stages in Donkey Kong Land III to have the DK Coin collected without the usage of Koin.

Collectibles and Secrets

Minor

• DK Coin: Just after the Star Barrel; ignore the banana arrow pointing to the right and go left instead. The Kongs should then dodge a Lurchin to grab the coin. Please note that since this is an underwater stage and no cave sections appear in this stage, Koin does not appear in this stage at all.

Bonus Areas

• Under a section (shortly before the O) where there are two Bazza passages right next to each other. In this area, the Kongs must dodge a series of Lurchins to grab the Bonus Coin within twenty seconds.
• Just after the G; the monkeys must go left, to find a Bonus Barrel. In this area, the Kongs must dodge Bounty Basses and Kocos that is right under it while collecting twelve stars in twenty seconds.
