Clambos are underwater enemies that appear in Donkey Kong Country. Quite an odd looking enemy, they are clams with two eyes and a tongue, although they have no head. They repeatedly open and close, and when they open, they spit out pearls. The number of pearls is different depending on which Clambo it is. The Clambos spit out from 1 to 5 pearls. Clambos are invincible, and therefore are the type of enemy that needs to be avoided. Clambos are rare in most underwater levels, but are extremely common in the level "Clam City".
In Donkey Kong Country on the Gameboy Advance, there is a sticker of Clambo. It is found in Clam City after the "O", in a secret cavern behind a Clambo.
