Clam City is the sixth stage of the Vine Valley world of Donkey Kong Island, as well as the eighteenth stage overall in the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and Game Boy Color versions of the game Donkey Kong Country. In the Game Boy Advance version of the same game, it is the fifth stage of the Vine Valley world, as well as the seventeenth stage overall in the game, being switched with Orang-utan Gang. In the SNES and GBC versions, it is preceded by Orang-utan Gang and followed by Bumble B Rumble. In the GBA version, it is preceded by Orang-utan Gang and followed by Temple Tempest.

Overview[]

This stage is the only underwater stage in the Vine Valley. Clambos are the main enemy of this stage and they spit pearls at the Kongs to try to attack them. There is a large variation in the number of pearls the Clambos spit in this stage. For example, the first Clambo encountered only spits one pearl, while the one before the exit spits five at once.
