This is going to be a horribly short Monthly Blog due to that. This type of Monthly Blog (titled "News") is a short blog that will only include the Donkey Kong Wiki News and the Top Contributor portions of my Monthly Blogs. Let's get right into it then.

Spring has finally arrived in the northern hemisphere! And for Monthly Cursors, that means a spring-themed cursor.
Squiddicus is the first spring-themed cursor! Donkey Kong Country Returns and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, are the only two Donkey Kong games that Squiddicus appears in, unfortunately. In Donkey Kong Country Returns, he can be first seen in the stage titled "Stormy Shore," where he attempts to stop Donkey and Diddy Kong from finishing the stage.
Fun fact: this is the largest cursor we've had so far! With dimensions of 100 x 37 pixels, it takes the title of being the largest cursor.

February's cursor, a heart barrel, was the first cursor manually created by me entirely. Don't get me wrong; I've created all the other cursors. The only difference this time is that I had to create the image that would ultimately become the cursor. Usually, I would scour Google Images for a good image to create into a cursor; this time, I scoured Google Images in search for a picture of a heart and a Barrel from DKC.

Monthly Cursors have begun!
Monthly Cursors are cursors that are themed to the current month of the northern hemisphere. For example, if the month is December in the northern hemisphere, the cursor will be winter or snow themed.
Every month will rotate with the subthemes "[Retro]" and "[New]." "[Retro]" means that the cursor will be from the retro Donkey Kong games (e.g. Kritter, Krook, Klobber, etc.), while "[New]" means that the cursor will be from the more recent Donkey Kong games (i.e. Squiddicus, Scurvy Crew, Fire Necky, etc.).

Similarities between the old and new Donkey Kong Country games?
So, I was replaying one of the Donkey Kong Country games not to long ago. Then, I found some similarities between both series. The one I'm going to highlight on is the setting. I realized that Donkey Kong Country and Donkey Kong Country Returns have the classic jungle theme. Then Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest and Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze have a pirate theme. Now, there is no third game in the newer series. But if there will be, maybe it will be a futuristic type theme or something like that. I want to know what everyone else thinks about this. Thanks for reading.
What-if quetion: Donkey Kong movie by Blue Sky Studios
I know there'e already been a Donkey Kong movie, like the made-for-video The Legends of the Crystal Coconut for exemple (which shows episodes from Donkey Kong TV series by Nelvana), but what if another animation company Blue Sky Studios (the makers of Ice Age and Rio franchises) would also think of get the movie license from Nintendo to make a theatrical computer animated feature film based on Donkey Kong and as well as Donkey Kong Country? Can Somebody PLEASE Tell me What This Thing Is?
This is unrelated to the DK Series, but please answer me. In Super Mario Galaxy 2, if you go to the Chompworks Galaxy and look in the background on the Starting Planet (The part on it with the Chomp Lever) with First-Person View, you see an odd-looking object. It looks like a UFO from a distance; It's round and small and white. Can somebody check this out for me? If any of you have the Flying Mario hack for SMG2, please: Check this OUT! I REAAAAAALLY want to know what the object is. I've been obsessing about it.

I am going to make a Donkey Kong game in the popular PS3 game, LittleBigPlanet. It's not going to be exactly like Donkey Kong Country because of the three layers but it's going to be similar to it. A few changes will be stuff like the following: Klobber will be constantly moving as opposed to when you get close while knockas will take on the abilities of klobber, neek is now an animal buddy while sneek will take on neek's abilities, there will only be one of each kong family home in between worlds. Don't get too excited because the game will probably take at least a year to finish. If a game with the same title doesn't come out, I will probably call it Donkey Kong Land Returns.

A wikia user suggested I apply for adminship, but I don't think I'm going too. I like being a regular wikia contributor and plan on staying that way. Thank you for supporting me anyway.
