Black Fairies are always fired from the mouths of Tar Men and Tar Fishes. They fly around for a short period of time before turning into their offensive form. If Donkey Kong touches one of them, he loses beats or a heart in the Wii version. Black Fairies can deflected with the Sound Wave Attack which is necessary to defeat the Tar Fishes and Tar Men.
Their attack form is called Black Fairy Attack, and it's a demon.
