Barrels are common items in the Donkey Kong game series. They first appeared in the 1981 game Donkey Kong for Arcade and have remained a recurring item since then. That way, they have become a symbol for the series.
Barrels are found in most games used usually as weapons, for accessing Bonus Stages, transportation methods, or even as enemies.
