Donkey Kong using a medium-sized wooden barrel in order to collect bananas as seen in the game DK: Jungle Climber for DS.
Banana Bonanza is an optional Bonus Game in the game DK: Jungle Climber, where the player collects bananas.
Overview
In the Adventure mode, this Bonus Game can be found inside stages via Bonus Barrels. At the beginning of the Bonus Game, the player must first pick a wooden barrel by a slot machine minigame. The barrel sizes are small, medium and big, with the large sizes making easier to collect more bananas.
During the Bonus Game, Donkey Kong must collect as many falling bananas and banana bunches as he can within ten seconds. The player must move the hero left and right in order to get the bananas inside the barrel. At the end, for each one hundred of bananas collected, the player will earn one extra life.
The same Bonus Game and other ones can also be unlocked and played in the Challenge Mode with four difficulty levels.
